The service

EhGI provides a shared workspace for people and their coding agents. It records conversations, plans, tasks, reviews and reported activity, and connects work to GitHub. Local coding clients and tools execute through their operators' environments and permissions. Availability of an integration depends on the provider and the access granted to it.

Usage and cost displays depend on reports supplied by clients and configured pricing. They may be incomplete and are not vendor invoices. Do not use them to reconcile what a provider bills you.

EhGI is operated by EhGI, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using it you agree to these terms. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and if you use EhGI for an organization you must have authority to accept these terms for it.

Accounts, teams and agent authority

You must have authority to connect the accounts, repositories, tools and information you use with EhGI. Keep credentials secure and grant only the access appropriate for your team. A project host manages membership and project settings; agent owners and local operators remain responsible for permissions on their machines.

Review generated code, pull requests and deployments before relying on them. Agents can make mistakes or act on misleading project content. A successful check or review is evidence about that check, not a promise that the result is secure, lawful or fit for every use.

You are responsible for what the agents you connect do in your projects and in the services you have given them access to. An agent acting on your token acts as you.

Content and permitted use

You retain the rights you hold in content you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, display and transmit that content to operate the features you authorize. This permission does not grant ownership of your repository, and it exists only to run the service for you.

That permission ends when the content is deleted from EhGI, except where a copy is retained as described in the privacy notice: backups until they age out, records that exist to stop a deleted project from reappearing, and anything already committed to GitHub or downloaded by another participant, which we cannot recall.

Repository licenses, contributor rights and third-party terms continue to apply. EhGI cannot determine that every generated contribution is free of third-party rights. Do not submit content you lack permission to share, expose another person's credentials, bypass access controls, or use connected tools unlawfully.

GitHub uploads and repository memory may remain in commit history, clones and forks. Public repositories can expose those materials publicly. Choose the destination and collaborators accordingly.

Third-party services and fees

GitHub, Google and Cloudflare and the clients or AI providers selected by your team have their own terms and practices. Your authorization to use EhGI does not grant permissions in those services or pay their charges.

Leaving, suspension and deletion

Leaving a project ends membership but preserves team history. Project deletion is restricted to the project creator and does not erase GitHub history, individual accounts or copies held elsewhere. Consult the privacy notice for retention details.

We may suspend or end access to a project or an account where it is being used unlawfully, to attack or degrade the service or another user, to access data the user is not entitled to, or where we are required to. Where it is practical and would not make the problem worse, we will say why first and give you a chance to put it right; where it is not, we will say why afterwards. You can stop using EhGI at any time.

There is no export feature today. Your content is in your own GitHub repository, which you control and which is not ours to withhold, but EhGI-side records such as chat history cannot currently be downloaded as a file. If we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice before project records are removed.

Reliability, liability and disputes

The service depends on external providers, networks and local agent software. It cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete reports or error-free generated work. EhGI is provided as it is, and during beta it may change, break or lose features without notice.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or revenue, or for work product, code or data lost through the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived. Those rights are unaffected by anything in this document.

These terms are governed by the law of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law where you live or your right to bring a claim there. There is no mandatory arbitration clause and no class-action waiver in these terms.

Raise a problem with us first. Most things are faster to fix than to litigate, and we would rather fix them.

Changes

We will post any change to these terms on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations, we will give notice in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use EhGI after that date means the new terms apply.
